People and Computers (Productions) Ltd. (the "Company”) produces conferences and events.  Registration to the said events is carried out through the Confitoora website, which the Company is owner to IP rights and title therein.    

The privacy and security of our customers, respondents and visitors are of paramount importance. The Company is committed to protecting the data you share with us and operates according to all applicable laws, including the Israeli privacy protection law and regulations. This privacy policy explains how the Company processes information that can be used to directly or indirectly identify an individual collected through the use of its websites, either Information or Sensitive Information, as such terms are defined in the Israeli Privacy Protection law (“Personal Data”).

For the purposes of this policy, the Company defines the term “User” as an individual who uses  the Company's website through a username and password, and thus has an established relationship with the Company, and the term “Visitor” as an individual that visits our front-end website (for example www.events.co.il). The term "process" means any operation carried out on Personal Data, including collection, organisation, storage, alteration, use, erasure etc.

Any information stored on the Company’s platform is treated as confidential. All information is stored securely and is accessed by authorized personnel only. The Company implements and maintains appropriate technical, security and organizational measures to protect Personal Data against unauthorized or unlawful processing and use, and against accidental loss, destruction, damage, theft or disclosure. In the event that despite such efforts such event does occur, we shall act according to the requirements of the applicable law.

The Website is not meant to be used by minors, and Company does not knowingly or intentionally collect such data.

Information we collect:

Visitors

The Company collects, records and analyzes information of Visitors to its website. We record your IP address and use cookies. Furthermore, the Company collects and processes any Personal Data that you volunteer to us in our website’s forms, such as when you register for events or conferences. In the event that you provide us with Personal Data or a third party, for example whilst registering someone else to an event, you hereby declare that you have obtained such party's consent for the provision of his Personal Information prior to such registration.

Such Personal Data comprises of your IP address, first and last name, your postal and email address, telephone number, job title, data for social networks, your areas of interest, and certain information about the company you are working for (company name and address), as well as information as to the type of relationship that exists between the Company and yourself.

The Purpose of Processing Personal Data:

The Company uses the collected data to provide said Visitors with information regarding future conventions or events, to enable electronic registration to events and conventions and to collect payment when required, however no credit card details or information about payment method are being kept. In addition, if such Personal Data is collected during registration to an event organized by Company on behalf of another company, such other company may use the Personal Data in order to offer Visitor with its products and/or future events organized by it.

The Sharing of Personal Data:

The Company may also share such information with event-sponsors and/or organizers in case an event is organized by Company on behalf of another company, as well as Company's sub-contractors in order to provide a requested service or transaction or in order to analyze the Visitor behavior on its website, or to provide services relating to the event such as name tag printing, offer special sessions during the event, or for email automation services etc. In sponsored events Company may give access to the Personal Data to such sponsors, in accordance to the provisions of the applicable law. The identity of such third parties may change from one event to the other, however all engagements with such third parties are carried out according to the applicable law.

The Website uses cookies. Cookies enable the Website to operate properly, to enhance the Website's service level, to collect statistic data over the Website usage, to verify details, analyze Visitors' behavior on the Website, to adjust the Website to your personal preferences and for information security. Company may also place cookies from third parties for functional and marketing purposes.

Users

During a User’s registration and later on Company’s platform, User provides information such as name, company name, email, address, telephone and other relevant data. As well as all uses mentioned above, this information is used by the Company to identify the User and provide him with services, mailings, information and to meet contractual obligations.

Data Subject's Rights in Personal Information

In accordance with the rights of the data subjects according to the applicable legislation, Company Users can from time to time access and edit, update or delete their contact details by logging in with their username and password to the Company’s platform, subject to the access and editing properties defined on the Website.

Any Visitor and/or User is entitled to review the information kept on him in any database held or owned by the Company, either himself or via anyone on his behalf, according to the provisions of the Privacy Protection law. In the event following such review you find that the information kept on you in incorrect, incomplete, not clear or not updated, you may contact us requesting to update or delete such information. In the event we refuse, we shall inform you in the manner required according to the law of such refusal to review / delete / correct personal information. In such event, you may appeal to the court with the applicable jurisdiction.

Retention and Deletion

The Company will not retain Personal Data processed or controlled by us longer than is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws or regulations. When a User’s account is terminated or expired, all Personal Data collected through the platform will be deleted, in the event it is required by applicable law.

Acceptance of these Conditions

We assume that all Visitors of our website and Users of Company’s platform have carefully read this document prior to agreeing to the process by the Company of their Personal Data.

We reserve the right to change our privacy policy as necessity dictates, upon suitable prior notice. This privacy policy is an integral part of Company’s terms of use.

Regarding use of photos taken at conferences:

If the company, the event owner, or any person acting on their behalf uses photos taken at the conference, the photos may be published on various media channels as part of the conference coverage and its public relations. If a participant appears in one of the photos, the participant will not have any claims against any party.
